Microprocessor-based contactless ignition system 1148.3734 («IZH-Planeta») (MPBSZ) and ignition coil 135.3705M are designed to work in the electrical system of motorcycles of the IZH-Planeta type of all modifications with 6 and 12 volt generators, instead of the serial contact ignition system. The ignition coil supplied in this kit has been redesigned for installation on a 1-cylinder engine and has special brackets for installation in its original place on the motorcycle frame.

The non-contact ignition system (BSZ) 135.3734 is designed to work in the ignition system of 2-cylinder carburetor engines of motorcycles of the Ural and Dnepr types of all modifications with a 12-volt electrical system, instead of the serial contact (PM302 breaker) and contactless ignition systems (sensor 17.3847, switch 47.3734).

The non-contact ignition system is designed to improve motorcycle performance by:
– cold start improvement;
– stability of engine operation due to reduction of spark asynchronism and
stability of characteristics of advancing the sparking moment in time;
– reducing the toxicity of exhaust gases, fuel consumption and carbon deposits on candles due to an increase in the inductive phase of the spark;
– stable engine start when the battery voltage drops to 6 V;
– reducing the labor intensity of installation and maintenance of BSZ;
– limiting the amount of current and the time it flows through the primary winding of the ignition coil to prevent it from overheating and discharging the battery.

The best spark discharge parameters are provided with a 135.3705М, 135.3705M coil specially designed for this system, however, the module is operable with any other motorcycle ignition coils (B 204, B 201).
The electronic control of the spark moment used in BSZ ensures stable operation of the system in all normal modes of the motorcycle robots.

Technical specifications

• The current consumption when the ignition switch is on and the engine is not running does not exceed 0.15 A.
• The module ensures uninterrupted sparking when the voltage in the onboard network changes from 6V to 16V, while the voltage on the spark plugs does not change and reaches 17 kV.
• The module provides uninterrupted sparking at a crankshaft speed of up to 7000 rpm, while the current consumption does not exceed 1.5 A.
• The ignition system is operational in the ambient temperature range from -25 to +85 degrees C.

BSZ is installed on a motorcycle using the fasteners included in the delivery set.

The manufacturer guarantees the trouble-free operation of the 1148.3734 module, subject to the operating conditions, for 24 months from the date of sale.
